This year’s theme, “Empowering Through Inclusion and Diversity,” reminds us of the importance of creating a world where everyone, regardless of ability, can thrive.
World Braille Day is observed to raise awareness of the importance of Braille as a means of communication in the full realization of the human rights for blind and partially sighted people.
“Let’s work together to promote equality and ensure that the incredible contributions of those who are visually impaired are recognized and celebrated.
Embracing diversity enriches our lives in countless ways – let’s empower through inclusion today and every day,” Special Envoy for the Development of Families and Children Rossana Briceno noted.
