By Horace Palacio: An elderly woman with Alzheimer’s disease has gone missing from a farm in La Gracia Village, Cayo District.
Onelsi Arrnoldo Villeda, 25, reported to police that his grandmother, 78-year-old Alicia Maria Jacome, disappeared from the farm on Friday afternoon while he was asleep.
Villeda, along with family and neighbors, conducted a search of the area but found no trace of Ms. Jacome.
Ms. Jacome is described as 5 feet tall, with short grey hair, light brown eyes, and a clear complexion. She was last seen wearing a green and red patterned blouse, black shorts, and black flip-flops.
Police are currently investigating the disappearance and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
