By Breaking Belize News Staff: Reports indicate that a Standard 5 female student was reportedly held down and attacked on Monday, May 25, 2026 on school grounds at Eden SDA Primary in Santa Elena, Cayo.
According to reports, the student was allegedly held down by 2 other students meanwhile another female student attacked her leaving her eyes and lips bruised.
Following the ordeal, a meeting was reportedly held by the police, administration and parents of both students.
However, reliable reports indicate that the student who attacked her is not facing any consequences by the administration of the school even though she was attacked on campus.
In addition, the student who was attacked has visited the hospital for her injuries and doctors have classified the injuries as wounding.
