Earth day was commemorated with tree plantings across the country.
Earth Day 2026 is being observed under the theme, “Our Power, our planet.”
The theme for Earth day 2026 urges everyone to take action to protect the environment.
“Care for our planet… for our land, waters and natural resources. As a nature based economy, we understand the imperative of sustainable action.
Today, we can each commit to taking private action for public good… as our contribution to improving the state of planet Earth, ensuring its value for generations to come,” the Prime Minister said.
