By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): Police in Orange Walk have detained a suspect in a burglary that cost a woman $1,700 in holiday earnings and savings.
The break-in was discovered shortly after 5:00 a.m. on December 26. Scene of Crime personnel later confirmed entry was gained through a front window.
Investigators have identified 29-year-old Fred Westby of Guinea Grass Village as a person of interest. No stolen property has been recovered, and investigations are ongoing.
