Dwayne Wade wins 2024 Gons Cycling Club New Years Cycling Classic

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Dwayne Wade of the BZ-BOYZ Cycling won the 2024 Gons Cycling Club New Years Cycling Classic on Sunday, January 21.

Wade won the 52.8 mile race that went from the Spanish Lookout junction on the George Price Highway to Old Belize in 2 hours, ten minutes, and 50 seconds (2:10:50). He averaged 24.2 miles per hour edging Roque Matus of M&M Engineering at the finish line.

Kenroy ‘Smokes’ Gladden of SPD was third, Digi’s Barney Brown rode in furth, and Wateva Boyz’s Benjamin Flowers was fifth.
