By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Cherished pediatrician, Dr. Cecilio Eck, has begun his fight against liver cancer with chemotherapy and immunotherapy in Mérida, Yucatan, Mexico, alongside his family.
His first treatment session was last Wednesday, and he feels encouraged by the support and prayers from family, friends, and well-wishers.
Dr. Eck and his family expressed their heartfelt gratitude and request continued prayers for him and his medical team, particularly Dr Carlos Ortegón at EME Red Hospital.
