By Aaron Humes: Police have charged a resident of Vista del Mar, Ladyville, Belize District after suspected cocaine was found in his vehicle in a stop in Hattieville.
43-year-old Dominic Frederick Young, a Belizean car dealer, is accused of the offence of possession of controlled drugs with intent to supply to another, to wit, 23.35 pounds of cocaine.
Acting on intelligence received, police busted Young in a Chevrolet Impala transporting the 10 parcels from the Cayo District on Saturday.
It is not known where the cocaine came from although there were recent major busts in the Corozal area, part of a general increase in such finds recently, though its source is not known.
