By Aaron Humes: Police are investigating a stabbing incident that left a man hospitalized, whilst his wife is detained in police custody.
On Tuesday, August 26, about 2:19 p.m., police responded to a report at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital. Upon arrival, they observed 40-year-old Derrick Olivera with multiple stab wounds to his body. Initial investigations revealed that Derrick and his wife were at home in the Lord’s Bank area when they had an argument, which resulted in the wife stabbing him with a knife.
Olivera was admitted in a critical condition.
