By Breaking Belize News Staff: Today, Ana Gutierrez, the mother of the student that was attacked in a video circulating on social media is seeking assistance.
Gutierrez says that her daughter was attacked inside a classroom at Sacred Heart College by another student and has since sustained serious injuries.
“Why would you want to hurt my child like this? and then post the video?
On Monday morning my child and her dad went on a road trip to the Northern border. They went from 3am and came back On Tuesday at 2:30 am. At 6am I woke up my daughter to go to school but, she said “mom am tired and sleepy.” I said to her you already missed Monday you need to go to school. My child then woke up took a shower and all went as usual.
While at school during her break time she decided to sleep a bit so she can get ready for her next class. while sleeping this is when and there this girl come from nowhere and beat her up for no reason, but accordingly for gossip. I know teens have many little issues but this is unacceptable,” Gutierrez explained.
Gutierrez says that her daughter’s eyes are bruised up and has spotted blood, she has a swollen forehead and her lips are bruised.
At this time, she is also suffering from severe headaches.
A doctor has certified that the student is suffering from trauma on the leftside of her forehead and trauma on right eye with a hemorrhage.
“This is cyber and physical bullying.
I need urgent professional help if someone can assist please contact me at 610 6183,” Gutierrez said.
