“Plastic pollution continues to threaten our environment, wildlife, and health, especially here in Belize, where our rivers, coasts, and the Barrier Reef are vital to our way of life,” DoE noted.
This year’s theme is a call to action: Rethink, Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle.
The DoE calls on everyone to make smarter choices to reduce single-use plastics and support sustainable alternatives.
Together, let’s protect our beautiful Belize.
