By Aaron Humes: 24-year-old Denvoy Bartley saw his charge of murder discontinued on Monday after a motion of nolle prosequi to High Court Justice Derrick Sylvester.
The Crown indicated that at this point it does not have enough evidence to proceed against Bartley but hopes to do so when that evidence becomes available.
Bartley was charged with the January 6, 2023 murder of Lionel Budna, 24, who was shot around 12:30 a.m. in front of a butane gas station.
