By Aaron Humes: On Saturday afternoon, a man was found floating in the waters near the marina off Vista del Mar, the subdivision just outside of Ladyville.
He has now been identified as Ladyville resident Mansfield Jones, but how he got there and what happened to him remain a mystery according to police.
ACP Hilberto Romero, Regional Commander, Eastern Division, told reporters today, “The body was retrieved, there were no signs of any physical injury on the body. A post-mortem [examination] will be conducted this week to determine the cause of death.”
ACP Romero said Jones had not been reported missing; his body was identified after a general alert went out to the area.
Police continue their investigations.
