By Aaron Humes: The Dangriga Sub-Treasury on St Vincent Street in downtown was targeted again by burglars overnight between Thursday and Friday, but police have established they didn’t get away with much.

Police were called at the start of business on Friday morning after the burglary was discovered about a quarter to eight. A safe containing “just under $1,000,” per Staff Officer Assistant Superintendent of Police Stacy Smith, had been removed; she noted that the Treasury “is not in the practice of keeping large sums of money in that building.”

Police investigations continue.
