By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Cycling Federation of Belize, in collaboration with the Road Race Officials, is once again rallying the community for a noble cause. Following the success of last year’s event, they are organizing a second BBQ fundraiser to support their cycling brother, George Abraham, who is in need of further medical attention.
The BBQ sale will kick off at 11:00 a.m. at Constitution Park on Saturday, February 1, 2025. The CFB and race officials are offering a delicious chicken BBQ for $10 per plate. Additionally, those who wish to support the cause can drop by and make a donation.
“Thank you in advance for your kind support,” the CFB said in a post on social media.
The community’s kind support for this endeavour to help a fellow cyclist in need is greatly appreciated.
