By Aaron Humes: Police continue their investigation into the deaths of separated couple Kiera Gentle, 26, and Harrison Arnold, 27, at a residence on Simon Lamb Street, Belize City.
According to Staff Officer Assistant Superintendent Stacy Smith, police were called to the residence and found the bodies of the couple, showing gunshot injuries, while a black nine-millimeter pistol licensed to Arnold was recovered from the scene.
Police could not shed light so far as to what led to their deaths, apart from confirming that no reports had been made to police concerning any domestic violence between them.
Surveillance footage widely released from the scene is accompanied by audio of a scream, multiple gunshot bangs, another scream, and more gunshot bangs. A prior police report said Arnold went to Gentle’s residence, and there was commotion between them before the fatal shootings.
