By Aaron Humes: According to police, earlier today on Simon Lamb Street in Belize City, a couple was found dead in a suspected murder-suicide.
According to reports, the bodies of Keira Gentle, 26, and her boyfriend, Harrison Arnold, 27, were found in Gentle’s bedroom.
Initial investigations suggest a physical altercation may have led to the incident. An 11-year-old present at the house called his mother to inform her about the altercation, and upon her arrival, she found the couple deceased. A black 9-millimeter pistol was found next to Arnold’s body.
The bodies are now at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital morgue awaiting post-mortem examinations. Police are investigating.
