The Belmopan City Council proudly congratulates Councilor Christopher Enriquez on his successful completion of a one-month workshop on “Sustainable Tourism” in the Republic of China (Taiwan).
The program, part of the Taiwan Global Pathfinders Initiative, was facilitated through the support of the Taiwan International Cooperation and Development Fund (Taiwan ICDF) and the Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan).
During his time in Taiwan, Councilor Enriquez participated in a series of forums, workshops, and field experiences focused on sustainable tourism development, cultural preservation, and environmental innovation. These engagements provided valuable insights that can be applied to strengthen tourism initiatives in Belmopan and across Belize.
The Taiwan Global Pathfinders Initiative continues to play a key role in fostering people-to-people exchanges, promoting sustainable growth, and strengthening the enduring friendship between Belize and Taiwan.
