By Aaron Humes: On Tuesday, January 14, a minor and her mother visited the Gender-Based Violence Response and Investigation Unit where the minor reported that in September 2024, her cousin had sexual intercourse with her against her will.
She further reported that several other times in 2024, he had also sexually assaulted her.
A medical examination was conducted on the minor and the doctor certified that the minor was carnally known.
Police have begun an investigation.
