By Aaron Humes: Police are investigating the death of a 34-year-old man who allegedly ingested poison.
On Thursday, November 20, about 1:40 a.m., police responded to a report at the Medical Plaza, Orange Walk Town. Upon arrival, they observed the motionless body of Hilmer Alcoser, a Belizean labourer of a Corozal Town address.
Initial investigations revealed that on Saturday, November 15, Alcoser ingested poison.
