By Breaking Belize News Staff: A Belize City man and convicted pedophile is headed back to prison after going on a groping spree last Thursday, sexually assaulting five females — including four minors — in broad daylight.
35-year-old Ashton Lamb, previously convicted of sexual assault in 2016, pleaded guilty on Monday to five counts of sexual assault, two counts of common assault, and two counts of harm. His victims included girls aged 12 to 15 and a 21-year-old woman, all of whom were attacked in the areas of the Palotti overpass, Nazarene High School, and Coney Drive.
Magistrate Ludlow Black described Lamb as a “terror to society” and said his blatant targeting of innocent children in public showed a level of premeditation. Despite Lamb’s past conviction, which only resulted in two months behind bars, the court handed down another lenient sentence — two years imprisonment, with all charges to run concurrently.
In addition to the jail time, Lamb was fined a total of $1,210 for the common assault and harm charges. His brother, Leon Lamb, was also recently remanded on rape charges, adding further disgrace to the family name.
