By Breaking Belize News Staff: Convicted rapist Leon Lamb has been handed an additional three-year prison sentence after being convicted of sexually assaulting a minor.
Lamb, who is already serving a sentence of 21 years, 1 month and 26 days for the rape of a 30-year-old woman, was sentenced on Monday morning in the Belize City Magistrate’s Court before Senior Magistrate Mannon Dennison.
According to court reports, the three-year sentence was imposed following a sentence indication request made by Lamb’s attorney, Norman Moore, who represented him in the matter.
The court ordered that the new sentence run consecutively to Lamb’s existing prison term, meaning he must first complete the more than 21-year rape sentence before beginning the additional three years behind bars.
Lamb was previously sentenced on December 18, 2025, after being found guilty of the September 24, 2022 rape of a 30-year-old woman inside her home in broad daylight and in the presence of her roommate.
