
By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): Police in Orange Walk have arrested and charged three men from Guinea Grass Village for their alleged involvement in a burglary that took place earlier this week.
According to reports, a construction worker reported that between 2:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. on Monday, November 10th, 2025, his two-bedroom zinc house measuring approximately 30 by 20 feet was broken into. The burglars reportedly pried open one of the back window louvers to gain entry.
Stolen from the home were a black Samsung Galaxy A10s cellphone valued at $400, a toy truck valued at $70, six pairs of gold earrings valued at $130 each, and $150 in cash, totaling approximately $1,400 Belize dollars in losses.
Scenes of Crime personnel processed the scene, and after police investigations, three men were detained and charged in connection with the crime: Cruzito Alfaro Copo (22), Genaro Copo (28), and Ezber Wilber Copo (23)—all residents of Guinea Grass Village.
On Tuesday, November 11th, 2025, police formally arrested and charged the trio for the crime of burglary. Police also recovered the stolen Samsung cellphone during the investigation.
