By Aaron Humes: The owner and chief contractor of a construction company along with several of his workers were robbed while at work on an unfinished concrete house at Armadillo Street on Tuesday morning.
According to the police, a total of four men were inside the house around 11:45 a.m. when three other men, dressed in dark clothing with their faces covered entered, held the boss at gun point and demanded his jewelries.
The company owner handed over a gold chain, two gold rings, a black Samsung A10 cell phone and a Ford F-150 vehicle key to a total value of $11,500. Two of the robbers jumped the back fence and the other one walked through the main entrance and escaped. No one was hurt during the incident.
Police have subsequently detained one individual as part of their ongoing investigations.
