By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Last night around 11:40 police responded to reports of someone being set on fire in Independence Village.
Police visited the poly clinic and Karima Logan,30, reported that she and her common law husband Travis Lopez got into a minor argument and Lopez led her outside of the house.
There, he poured gas on her and lit her on fire.
Lopez then reportedly took her under the shower to out the flames.
Logan was taken to the poly clinic and then to the Southern Regional Hospital for further medical treatment but she told police that “it was an accident.”
Logan suffered burns on multiple places on her body.
