Commissioner of Police to Mesop, “Time to vote for Belizean by choice”

By Breaking Belize News Staff: During an interview with 7News Belize, Commissioner of Police, Chester Williams said that perhaps its time for the people of Mesop to vote for someone who is Belizean by choice.

“Maybe it is time for the people of Mesop to decide if they want to be represented by someone who lives in Belize by choice and not someone who is forced to live in Belize, I think that’s one of the issues. He doesn’t want to be a Belizean, he doesn’t want to be here, he wants to be an American, it just so happens that he was sent back home and that’s the reason why he’s here,” Williams said referring to Leader of the Opposition Shyne Barrow.

“To have someone who is born bred Belizean and wants to be a Belizean by choice I think would be a better representation for the people of Mesopotamia,” Williams added.

The Commissioner of Police has numerous times joked when asked about putting his name on a ballot.
