Commissioner of Police says Shyne is a “bully”

By Breaking Belize News Staff: Commissioner of Police Chester Williams says that the Leader of the Opposition, Shyne Barrow continues to attack him and the Belize Police Department.

“The issue is that the leader or the opposition continues to attack myself and the police department in ways that he should not. a true definition of a bully is a person who attacks another believing that the other will be unable to defend himself. Now Should I just sit on a corner? And allow The leader of the opposition to reckless comments, or baseless or irresponsible comments about the police department? If I allow that, then I am not fit to lead this department,” Compol Williams said.

In addition, the Commissioner of Police said that he has a right to defend his integrity and the integrity of the Police department.

“And once the leader of the opposition talks about the department in any unfair matter or spread information that is reckless I will respond in kind. Why don’t they say that the leader of the opposition should resign for going on the media and saying that we are a narco state?,” the Commissioner expressed.

The Commissioner called on everyone to “be fair.”
