By Aaron Humes: A devastating road traffic accident resulted in the death of a man identified as Carlos Landaverde this afternoon. The incident occurred on the Guinea Grass Road shortly after 1 p.m., when Landaverde was driving a white pickup truck and collided head-on with a black SUV.
Witnesses reported that the crash caused substantial damage to both vehicles, and the impact was described as severe. Bystanders quickly rushed to assist Landaverde, who sustained critical injuries. He was transported to the Northern Regional Hospital, but pronounced dead upon arrival.
Police are currently investigating the accident’s circumstances and are expected to provide additional details.
