By Breaking Belize News Staff: Moist and unstable conditions continue to affect Belize, bringing cloudy skies and scattered showers across the country. The National Meteorological Service reports that most areas will experience a few showers and isolated thunderstorms this morning, although activity is expected to decrease by this afternoon.

Forecaster Francisca Wellington noted that southern Belize should prepare for additional showers and isolated thunderstorms later tonight. Temperatures today will reach highs of 88°F along the coast, 94°F inland, and 81°F in the hills.

Marine conditions will be moderately rough, with east-southeast winds blowing at 10 to 20 knots and seas running 3 to 5 feet. Fisherfolk and small craft operators are urged to exercise caution.

Looking ahead, the forecast for Monday and Monday night calls for only isolated showers or thunderstorms, with conditions gradually stabilizing. No tropical cyclone formation is expected in the North Atlantic Basin over the next 48 hours.
