By Breaking Belize News Staff: Belizeans can expect mostly cloudy skies throughout Monday as moist and unstable conditions continue to dominate the weather pattern. According to the National Meteorological Service, a few showers, thunderstorms, or periods of rain will occur across the country during the day, with rainfall activity intensifying over the south and coastal areas tonight.
Marine conditions remain relatively calm, with east-southeasterly winds blowing at 5 to 15 knots. The sea state is light chop, with waves ranging from 2 to 4 feet.
Temperatures will be warm but not extreme: 85°F (29°C) along the coast, 89°F (32°C) inland, and 78°F (26°C) in the hills. Minimum nighttime temperatures are expected to dip to 77°F (25°C) along the coast, 72°F (22°C) inland, and 67°F (19°C) in higher elevations.
Looking ahead, Belizeans should be prepared for more showers and thunderstorms on Tuesday, particularly at night.
