By Zoila Palma: On July 1, the Climate Resilient and Sustainable Agriculture Project (CRESAP) kicked off its first Public Awareness and Sensitization Session in 7 Miles Village, marking the start of a countrywide outreach campaign aimed at educating farmers on sustainable, climate-smart agricultural practices.
The event, led by the CRESAP team, introduced community members to the Matching Grant Program — a key initiative designed to boost farm productivity, increase income, and enhance resilience to climate change.
Attendees received guidance on eligibility requirements and learned how the program can support their agricultural operations.
The awareness sessions form part of CRESAP’s broader strategy to engage rural communities and promote sustainable farming practices that contribute to food security and climate adaptation.
Upcoming sessions will be held as follows:
La Gracia Village
Valley of Peace
CRESAP encourages all local farmers and interested stakeholders to attend and learn more about the resources and support available through the program.
