By Aaron Humes: Police are investigating the death of a 20-year-old female identified as Claritza Granillo Rodriguez in western Belize.
About 9:37 p.m. Wednesday, police responded to a report in the Spanish Lookout community. Upon arrival, they observed the motionless body of a female on a veranda with multiple stab wounds to her body, identified as Claritza Rosalee Granillo Rodriguez.
Initial investigations revealed that an argument had occurred among individuals residing at the same residence, which allegedly led to Claritza being stabbed and killed by her brother-in-law.
Claritza was transported to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead on arrival. Police investigations continue at this time.
