By Zoila Palma: Today, Senator for Belize Council of Churches and Evangelical Association of Churches, Louis Wade Jr. called on Belizean men to become safe spaces for all females in our society.
“Do not be a predator, a hunter… instead allow our women to blossom to their full potential, in so doing YOU will also fulfill your greatest potential.
It is a sickness, a weakness, a failure when a man cannot walk away… when he instead feels that he must hurt a woman, even emotionally, much less physically… and worse, to take a life,” Wade said.
“Our men need serious resocialization as it relates to what it means to be a REAL MAN,” Wade expressed.
