By Aaron Humes: Police are seeking two persons in relation to an aggravated burglary that occurred in southern Belize.

The ongoing investigation commenced on Wednesday, December 17, when the owner of First Choice Supermarket closed her business around 8:30 p.m. and went to the upper flat of the two-storey building along with another female. Upon entering, they encountered two men who were already inside the residence, one of whom was armed with a firearm.

The burglars restrained both women. The culprits then stole an undisclosed amount of cash, along with a black Beretta nine-millimeter pistol containing four live rounds.
