By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Central Secondary Schools Sports Association (CSSSA) is holding their football semifinals on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at Marion Jones Stadium in Belize City. The event promises thrilling matches as both female and male teams compete for a spot in the finals.
The semifinal schedule is as follows:
Female Matches:
- Game 1: Catherine Academy (SCA) leading Wesley College (WES) from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
- Game 2: Gwen Lizarraga High School (GLHS) vs. Pallotti High School (PHS) from 12:40 PM to 1:40 PM.
Male Matches:
- Game 3: Gwen Lizarraga High School (GLHS) vs. Sadie Vernon Technical High School (SVTHS) from 1:50 PM to 3:10 PM.
- Game 4: Anglican Cathedral College (ACC) vs. Wesley College (WES) from 3:20 PM to 4:40 PM.
Fans are encouraged to come out and support their teams in what is sure to be an exciting day of football. The entrance fee for the event is $4, with a special group rate of $3 per student for every group of 20 student fans.
