By Zoila Palma: The Central Bank of Belize is gearing up to host “Know Your Money” training sessions, designed to educate the public on recognizing and authenticating security features on the redesigned Belizean banknotes.
The training will be held on May 8, 2025, from 10am to 12 noon and 2pm to 4pm.
The training will be held at the Lecture Hall, Central Bank of Belize, 1 Gabourel Lane, Belize City.
There are in-person and virtual attendance options available.
Interested individuals must reserve their space by Wednesday, 30 April 2025, by contacting the Central Bank via currencymanagement@centralbank.org.bz or (501)223-6194, extensions 213 or 250.
Participants unable to attend in person may request access to the virtual session by emailing currencymanagement@centralbank.org.bz by Friday, 2 May 2025.
A secure link to the session will be provided upon registration.
These informative sessions are open to all members of the public.
Attendees will gain valuable knowledge on how to recognise and authenticate the new banknotes.
