Belize’s beach volleyball teams gave it their all on Monday but fell short of advancing to the semifinals at the regional tournament, closing out their campaign in 7th place.
On the women’s side, Belize’s team also fought valiantly but were unable to overcome their opponents, ending their run just outside the top six. Clara Sabal and Aaliyah Pilgrim fell 2–0 (21–8, 21–12) to Guatemala’s Alvarado and Quiñonez, who advanced to the semifinals. Despite the loss, Belize’s effort and resilience throughout the tournament were evident, earning them a 7th-place finish

In the men’s bracket, Brandon Fehr and Edgar Martínez faced a formidable Nicaraguan duo in Dany López and Rubén Mora in their final quarterfinal match. Despite their determination and spirited play, the Belizean pair were defeated in straight sets, 21–13 and 21–11. Nicaragua’s victory secured them a semifinal berth against Guatemala’s Edgar Maldonado and José Izaguirre.
With El Salvador also advancing to the semifinals alongside Nicaragua and Guatemala, the competition now moves into its final stages. For Belize, the journey may have ended early, but the heart and determination shown by both teams reflect the country’s growing presence in regional beach volleyball.
