Cayo Wings Fest brings flavor, fun and competition to Falcon Field tonight

By Zoila Palma:  Food lovers, families and spice enthusiasts are preparing for the 1st ever Cayo Wings Fest, scheduled to commence at 3pm today at Falcon Field in San Ignacio.

Organized by Nurdster Production, the event will run from 3 p.m. until midnight and promises a full day of food, entertainment and family-friendly activities.

The festival will showcase a variety of wing creations as vendors compete in a Culinary Challenge designed to highlight unique flavors and cooking styles.

One of the anticipated highlights of the event will be the Marie Sharp’s Spiciest Wings Competition, where participants will test their tolerance for heat in a fiery showdown.

In addition to the wing competitions, attendees can indulge in a variety of culinary offerings from food vendors including Finger Bites Belize, Flora’s Kitchen, Wings Belmopan, and many more, serving up flavors to satisfy every craving.

Cocktails with Kim will also be serving its popular Kamikaze shots and signature michelada mixers, while Anywhere Coffee will be on hand with a selection of delicious frappes.

Cayo Wings Fest 2026 is expected to become one of the newest and most exciting attractions on the event calendar in western Belize.
