By Zoila Palma: Today, the Cayo Special Constables Committee issued a statement extending its deepest condolences to the families, friends, and colleagues mourning the tragic loss of two of their most dedicated and hardworking Special Constables, SC’s Manuel Smith and Fidencia Osgalla who lost their lives due to gun violence this morning.
“These SC’s gave their time, energy, and unwavering commitment to serving and protecting the communities of San Ignacio, Santa Elena, and surrounding areas. Their sacrifice and service will not be forgotten,” the committee said.
The Cayo Special Constables Committee further called on the relevant authorities to conduct a thorough investigation, identify those responsible, and ensure that justice is served for the victims and their grieving families.
“During this difficult time, we extend prayers to their families,” the committee expressed.
