By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Our Lady of Mount Carmel High School (MCHS) opened their Cayo FA Women’s 1st Division Football campaign with a superb performance, securing a decisive 6–0 victory over Eden SDA High School at the Norman Broaster Stadium in San Ignacio.
Mount Carmel controlled possession from the opening whistle. Their attacking combinations consistently broke down the Eden defence, and their finishing was clinical throughout the match.
Eden SDA worked hard to stay in the contest, but Mount Carmel’s tempo and organization proved overwhelming as the goals continued to come.
The emphatic win gives MCHS a perfect start to the season.
