By Zoila Palma: The Caye Caulker Village Council has launched a petition collecting signatures from all registered voters who support keeping parcel 815 for its intended purpose.
The council hopes to collect enough signatures to trigger a referendum.
“Let’s save the police station, as a community. Roots over riches, and unity brings strength,” the council said.
Those wishing to sign can visit the council’s office and take their social security along with your voter’s ID, or back and front pictures of both.
