By Aaron Humes: Police are seeking a man for questioning following a stabbing incident in Caye Caulker.
This morning, Friday, about 2:20 a.m., police responded to a report on Avenida Hicaco. Upon arrival, officers found a Jerry Nicholas of Caye Caulker, suffering from stab wounds. He was initially treated at the Caye Caulker Clinic and later transported to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital for further medical care. He remains in critical condition.
Initial investigations reveal that about 2:10 a.m., an unknown man was walking along Avenida Hicaco when Nicholas allegedly emerged from a dark area and stoned the man with a coconut on the back of his head. A confrontation ensued resulting in Nicholas being stabbed.
