Case management begins this week for men accused of 2024 Elwin ‘Bobo’ Lewis murder

By Breaking Belize News Staff: The Case Management Conference (CMC) for murder accused Robert Arnold and Travis Herbert is scheduled to commence next week Friday, December 19, 2025, following another adjournment in the High Court.

The two men appeared before Justice Nigel Pilgrim on Thursday, December 11, 2025, where the matter was again called up but the CMC could not begin. Attorney David McKoy, who represents Travis Herbert, requested additional time to prepare and file the required CMC documents. Meanwhile, attorney Dale Cayetano, representing Robert Arnold, indicated that while he was prepared, it was necessary for co-accused Herbert to be present at the CMC.

In light of the requests, Justice Pilgrim granted one final adjournment and set Friday, December 19, 2025, for the CMC to kick off.

Travis Jamaal Herbert, 22, and 21-year-old Robert Emmanuel Arnold are awaiting trial for the murder of Elwin Lewis, also known as “Bobo Youth.” Lewis was shot and killed on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, in Belize City.

Arnold and Herbert have been on remand for approximately one year and six months and were further remanded to the Belize Central Prison until their next court date.
