By Horace Palacio: A 23-year-old man from Belize City was fatally stabbed in Orange Walk Town on Saturday night, marring the celebrations following the town’s carnival.
Alwin Arnold Vasquez was walking with friends when he was confronted and stabbed in the abdomen by an unidentified assailant.
He was rushed to the hospital but died from his injuries.
Police are investigating the incident, but witnesses have been unable to provide clear accounts due to intoxication.
