By Zoila Palma: Today, the CARICOM Election Observation Mission (CEOM) to the General Election in Barbados is currently in the field observing the voting process.
The Mission is led by Chief of Mission Ian S. Hughes, Supervisor of Elections, Antigua and Barbuda Electoral Commission.
He is supported by Deputy Chief of Mission Josephine Tamai, Chief Elections Officer of Belize, and Andrew Smith, Regional Manager, Electoral Commission of Jamaica.
Ahead of Election Day, the team held key pre-election engagements with many stakeholders including the Commissioner of Police, the Barbados Christian Council, and members of the media.
