By Breaking Belize News Staff: Paul Gamboa, a 30-year-old car dealer and DJ from Nargusta Street, was arraigned on Tuesday evening on a charge of attempted kidnapping. The incident reportedly occurred in broad daylight on Monday on Coney Drive. Gamboa, unrepresented, appeared before a Senior Magistrate and was remanded to Belize Central Prison until August 26, 2024.
Gamboa allegedly tried to force his ex-girlfriend into his vehicle, but she escaped with the help of bystanders, including security guards. The ex-girlfriend, a 27-year-old assistant, reported the incident to police, leading to Gamboa’s arrest. No plea was taken due to the severity of the charge.
