By Zoila Palma: Following the murders of town council employees Fidencia Osgalla and Manuel Smith on Wednesday morning in San Ignacio, the San Ignacio & Santa Elena Town Council is hosting a Candlelight Vigil tonight.
“As we stand in solidarity against violence. We are gathering to pray for peace and raise awareness regarding the recent crimes and murders affecting our community,” the council said.
Join us at the Macal Park at 7pm tonight as we remember our fallen colleagues and stand in solidarity with their families.
Let’s unite to reclaim the peace of our twin towns.
