By Breaking Belize News Staff: Belize’s weekend will be marked by fair skies, warm temperatures, and light winds as a light east to southeasterly airflow continues to influence the weather. Forecasters say most areas will enjoy sunny conditions with a few cloudy spells today, while isolated showers or thunderstorms are possible, especially over the north.

Winds will be light and variable at sea, producing slight seas and wave heights between 1 and 3 feet. Temperatures will soar to 95°F inland, 89°F along the coast, and 82°F in higher elevations.

The National Meteorological Service reports that tropical cyclone formation is not expected in the North Atlantic Basin over the next two days. Conditions for Sunday and Sunday night remain similar, with generally fair weather and just a few isolated showers expected.

Forecaster Michelle Augustine advises residents to protect themselves from the heat and stay hydrated, especially during the hottest parts of the day.
