Call center agent on remand for sharing ex’s nudes to ‘make her famous’

By Breaking Belize News Staff: Northside call center agent Brian Lee Perriott Jr., 26, is on remand at the Belize Central Prison pending sentencing for a crime under the Cyber Crime Act. Perriott pleaded guilty to intentionally transmitting an image of a private area without consent.

On June 27, 2024, Perriott transmitted a video featuring a 20-year-old female’s breasts and genitalia without her consent. The victim, a call agent representative from Western Belize, reported the incident to the police after receiving the video on June 10, 2024, following the end of her relationship with Perriott.

The video, which depicted both the victim and Perriott in bed, was accompanied by a threatening message from Perriott, who stated he would share the video with her family and post it on Facebook to “make her famous.”

Further evidence revealed Perriott created a fake Facebook account using the victim’s photo without her authorization. He continued to harass her, sending the same video to one of her friends on June 27, 2024, with another derogatory message.

Perriott faces a fine or up to five years in prison for his offense under the Cyber Crime Act, Chapter 106:01, Revised Edition 2020.
