By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Caesar Ridge FC delivered a commanding 5–0 victory over Ladyville Wolves on Thursday at the Marion Jones Sports Complex, as the Belize District Football Association (BDFA) First Division Closing Championship finally kicked off following last weekend’s rain‑forced postponement.

The BDFA worked quickly to shift the triple‑header to George Price Day, allowing the 2025–2026 season to begin despite the weather setback.

Moses Babb opened the scoring, Keshawn Gordon struck twice, and Augustine Smith and Antwuan Bailey added one each in a dominant performance that set the tone for Caesar Ridge’s campaign.

The result places CRFC at the top of the early standings as district football returns to full rhythm in Belize City.
